Annual Old Tyme Night -
The Society provides 2
meat pies, tea
and
coffee. Members are encouraged to bring finger foods,
desserts & soft drinks to share. BYOB. Scottish Country
Dancing and Games.

June 30th DCSS Picnic at Wilcox Park, Route 199,
Stanfordville, NY
$5 per person to get in. We have reserved Pavilion D.
We have the pavilion from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM. We will
start
cooking at 1:00 PM, but if you get there early - especially if you
are bringing children
who want to use the playground facilities or
want to go to the
beach (where a lifeguard is provided) - please
do it. Please bring
your
own liquid refreshments and snacks.
The Society will provide the
hamburgers, hot dogs, rolls,
condiments, and paper goods. There will
be games for the small
kids and games for the big
kids. There are no
horseshoe pits at
the pavilion.
Sept 30th Celtic Day in the Park - Sponsored by
DCSS
Staatsburgh (Mills Mansion), Staatsburgh, NY
Stop by our tent! On the banks of the Hudson River,
we celebrate
the cultures of Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Brittany, the Isle of Man
and Cornwall. Featuring pipe bands, Celtic music and dance
presentations. In addition, there are workshops, sheep dog herding,
caber toss, and a
Celtic marketplace including ethnic foods.
